Chris Hughes has considered proposing to JoJo Siwa. The former Love Island contestant, 33, met JoJo, 23, who shot to fame as a child on Dance Moms and went on to appear on Nickelodeon, when they signed up to appear in the Celebrity Big Brother house together in 2025 and what followed was a whirlwind romance that unfolded on screen and beyond the cameras.
Now more than a year into their relationship, Chris has revealed that whilst he doesn't know exactly when or where he would like to pop the question, marrying JoJo is something he would like to happen in the future.
He said: "I've definitely given it some thought. But I don’t know the exact location or what time of day. I think spontaneity would be good, something a little bit different to your usual ways, but when it feels right, I’ll know."

Speaking to The Sun, he added: "I come from a family where you get married, you have children, and that’s what life’s all about. I’ve got a huge family, lots of aunties, uncles and nieces, so obviously one day I’d love to have children of my own.I would love to be a certain age where I can still swing a club while they’re good players as well. That would be cool."
JoJo famously split from Kath Ebbs, whom she had been in a relationship with for some time before she met Chris, after the live final of Celebrity Big Brother, but Chris insisted that he knew from the start that the TV star was one for him as he played down any claims of a "showmance" between them.
He added: "I knew straight away, I really loved her personality. Within days of meeting, I thought, ‘Oh my God, this is going to be my girlfriend’. We got along so well and we kind of had each other’s backs in there."

At the moment, Chris and JoJo have a long-distance relationship and he recently insisted that it was always tough to leave his significant other behind in the US, but the thought of relocating permanently had crossed his mind.
He said: "I love being with JoJo and her family in Palm Springs, it soothes me. I love her mum and dad, and I spent a lot of time with her dad playing golf. But it never gets easier having to say goodbye. The separation doesn’t last forever, though – I’m flying out to see her again next month.
Asked if he would consider a move to the States, he added: "My best friend was talking to me about this yesterday! I mean, it’s more complicated than, say, moving to the north of England, and my life and all my friends are here. We’re working on it. Who knows…"
JoJo previously stated that one of her biggest goals in life is to become a mother. During a Snapchat Q&A, shelet fans ask her anything. One asked: "What are your dreams that you have not yet achieved?" Jojo responded with a picture of herself with children at Disneyland and said: "To be a mom."
That wasn't the first time the two of them have hinted at having children together. JoJo told the Mirror : "I have names that I really, really like and that I've spoken to him about. But I've never said them publicly."
